World-renowned wine writers Hugh Johnson and Karen MacNeil graced the stage at the Performing Arts Center of the Napa Valley College on October 16th, 2023. This sold-out event was the last appearance in America for Hugh Johnson, author of several of the most preeminent texts in the field such as The Pocket Wine Guide, The Story of Wine, and On California.
Karen MacNeil guided the discussion with her good humor and engaging personality. The quality banter between these two legends flowed effortlessly. Their collective wealth of knowledge spilled from the stage and was enjoyed by all.
